How it works

Right in Google Calendar

Adds Convert to task and Copy to task to the right-click menu and to the ⋮ menu of any event. Nothing new to learn.

Keeps the time

The task lands at the event's time, not just its date. Location, video link and description go into the task's notes.

Works both ways

On a task you get Convert to event and Copy to event, so plans can move between your calendar and your to-do list.

Set up in a minute

  1. Add Event → Task to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Sign in with Google and allow access to Calendar and Tasks.
  3. In Google Calendar, right-click an event and choose Convert to task.

Questions

Is my calendar data sent to your servers?

No. There is no Event → Task server. The extension talks directly to Google from your browser, and only touches the event or task you choose. See the privacy policy.

What happens to the original event?

Convert to task deletes it after the task is created; Copy to task keeps it. If you organized a meeting with guests, it asks before cancelling it for them.

How is the time set on the task?

Google's Tasks API only stores dates, so the extension fills in the time in Google Calendar's own task editor for you. You'll see it happen for a moment. The time is also saved in the task's notes.

I paid on another computer. Do I pay again?

No. Open the extension's settings and click I already paid to restore your purchase with the email you paid with.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of purchase. See the terms.
